The population side of the sustainability equation (Dave Gardner)

A valuable comment :

There have been many stories lately about water becoming the new oil. Wealthy investors are advised to invest in both food and water because future scarcity will drive prices up (and it is already happening). Yet elected officials, mainstream media, and most of society continue to ignore the population side of the sustainability equation. Fortunately there is a growing chorus singing about this, but it’s not big enough and not loud enough, yet. Thanks for joining the chorus!

A million extra people a week must have some impact on resources, especially when they want autos, aircon, fridges and the rest. prices are the balance of demand and supply!
