THE CAPE OF GOOD FUTURE (Willem Van Cotthem)

Our desertification blog ship has been sailing all over the world since November 2006.

From the moment we left our Belgian harbour, we have been extending knowledge of desertification, drought and poverty through a collection of publications on these topics.  Our goal has always been to collect knowledge and experience, to gain  insight and access to the best practices and success stories through a reliable internet route.

Our long-term sailing plans are coming to fruition.  On average, more than 1.000 visitors come aboard our blog ship every day.  Today, we have rounded THE CAPE OF GOOD FUTURE (600.000 visitors).

1989 – Our TC-Dialogue soil conditioning project on the Island of Sal (Cabo Verde) showed that only a minimum of water was needed to have maize (corn), vegetables and trees growing in a desertlike environment (PHOTO WVC)

Concurrent internet exploration by many other website and blog captains gives credence to the belief that spreading knowledge on desertification, drought, climate change and poverty can be used as a platform for building a better world.

Therefore, we will join hands with all the people of good will to round a Cape of Good Future on our route to food, health and decent living conditions for every living being.  With thousands of followers of our action SEEDS FOR FOOD we are now sailing towards food security on all continents.  The future becomes green.
