Contribution to the e-survey with extended deadline 31 August 2011 (DNI)

A message from DNI International

As recently announced, the UNCCD has initiated an e-survey assessment on
how to organize international, interdisciplinary scientific advice. This
assessment is part of our ongoing efforts to make the Convention a
global authority on scientific and technical knowledge pertaining to
desertification/land degradation and mitigation of the effects of drought.

We are thankful to those who have already dedicated their time to
fill-out the survey.

As this survey is of great importance to the UNCCD, we would be really
grateful if you could forward this email to your counterparts who are
involved in the UNCCD process, land and soil issues, and even if you
could post the link to the survey (as indicated below) on your website
as relevant.

May we cordially invite and encourage further those who have not
submitted their views to please do so and respond online at:

English: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/KDLWLBS
French: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/T2T38WF
Spanish: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/M7L6B3K

In order to have an opportunity to further collect your input, the
survey will remain opened for an extended period of time until 31 August
2011. The survey is anonymous, so kindly disregard this message if you
already responded.

We want to thank you so much for your continuous support in the
activities of the UNCCD and we look forward to receiving additional
input from all regions.
