Grow – find land
The grow your own movement has captured the imaginations of people all across the country, but not all of us have access to space for growing. There’s loads of UK land that’s under-used or forgotten. Some of it could be cultivated for vegetables and fruit, or even bees, chickens and other animals, which is where Landshare comes in.
Here’s how you get started:
1) Sign up! First you need to create an account. You’ll create a username and password which you can then use to log into the site at any time.
2) Fill in your profile with as much information as you can so that owners get a sense of who you are and whether you’d be suitable for their plot. An image will really personalise your profile.
3) Now post a listing saying where you are and what you’re looking for. You can also join or start a LetsGrow group, which allows you to create a group of six growers needed to request land from your local council.
