Algeria: 12 Big Dams Under Construction Countrywide

Minister of Water Resources Hocine Necib said Thursday that 12 big dams are under construction nationwide.
Among those projects, eight big dams will be delivered in 2015, such as those of Ouldja Melal in Tebessa, Soubla in M’sila, Tagarisset in Khenchela, Taht in Mascara, Kef Dir in Tipasa and Beni Slimane in Medea, ministre said at a press briefing on the sidelines of an inspection visit to the province of Tissemsilt (210-km west of Algiers).
